Welcome To My Pond
My Spring Pond
The beauty that God shares in a small pond
starts with a gentle breeze of music
flowing to the sleeping flowers around the pond
Awakened by the sun upon their tender buds,
Warming them ,
as they expose their beautiful colors to the observer
Sending their sweet aroma around the pond
From the waterfall, flows a Lazy Stream of water
into the pond below
Forming rainbow like bubbles
Fish approach the rainbow like bubbles formed from the waters surface
Playing in and out, popping the colorful bubbles
as they rise to the surface
Birds of every kind join in, bathing at the waterfalls edge.
Bees are abundant as they retrieve the sweet honey from the flowers
While Butterflys, with their bright colors approach,
searching for nectar to feed their hungary appetite
Frogs sit upon the glossy green lillypads waiting for a free lunch,
while the observer watches in peace and hums the musicial song
that which the pond brings.
There is such beauty all around us,
that it would be a Shame, not to stop
awhile and notice
all the things that God has brought forth for us to enjoy.
