Ruby-Throated HummingBirds(Archilochus Colubris)Of Massachusetts
The photos here are of the female hummingbirds,
although the males were around in the trees.
Hopefully I will get photos of them by next year.
I have had two males and two females visit my feeders this year.
The Adult Females Have A Emerald green back and white breast and throat (gorget)
And
It has a rounded tail outlined in white
They are much larger than the Male Hummingbird.
The Male Ruby-Throated hummingbirds have a emerald green back
with an iridescent ruby red Throat (gorget)
They have a white breast and grey hips
A forked tail with no white
and appear smaller than the female
